About Benalmádena
Only 12 km from Malaga Airport is Benalmádena situated between Torremolinos to the east and Fuengirola to the west.
Benalmádena has a small white village at the mountain of Mijas named Benalmadena Pueblo and on the coast side is Benalmadena Costa, a coastline with fine beaches and a beautiful harbor.
Benalmádena is a great place to enjoy the sights for the whole family. On the coast you will find Sea Life aquarium and Selwo Marina, whith dolphin and sea lion shows. Further up is Paloma park, a landscaped green area with lakes and wildlife. Benalmadena, Arroyo de La Miel also offers Tivoli world - one of the Costa del Sol's most famous theme parks, incidentally started by a group of Danes. There are of course plenty of entertainment as we know it from Tivoli Garden in Copenhagen, but there is also a wide selection of outdoor concerts in the summer. Tivoli is pretty much in the middle of the city and is the ideal place for a Sunday outing.
There are 3 golf courses very close to Benalmadena, and otherwise the coast offers more than 50 golf courses along the Costa del Sol. We have several properties for sale near golf courses.
West of the village is a Stupa which is the largest Buddhist center in Europe, from the Stupa there is a fantastic view down the coast to the Mediterranean.
